Winter weddings may be more rare then summer ceremonies but they are just as meaningful and bring the same beauty. The day started off at Hairpins for the ladies, with them moving onto Crown Isle to get dressed. We had a little time to spare so were able to get some photos of the girls wedding party out on the lawn. Meanwhile the men were prepping the Filberg Centre for the ceremony and reception. Krystle and her team did a wonderful job transforming the hall into a lovely scene for their vows – and afterwards the party! We didn’t have a lot of time due to night falling quickly, so we used a more urban backdrop for the men’s side of the wedding party. Luckily the weather held up and we were able to take the wedding party for a short walk for portraits at the park and then head over to Sims Park for the bridal shots. Krystle and Angus were super to work with! I’m always so fortunate to work with such great couples! It was a wonderful way to start the 2015 wedding season and I’m always so thankful to be the one chosen to capture that special day for them.
